Storyboard Text

  • I'm just trying to walk by ma'am
  • Why are you staring at me creep?
  • What...NO! That's not true!
  • This will teach you not to stare
  • Help someone please! This girl here is a communist spy
  • You're coming with us ma'am
  • NO! don't touch me, I didn't do anything
  • Have fun
  • Back in 1917 the Red scare had spread all over the US. Many accused others of being communist spies even if they weren't. I used the story of a girl who was going around accusing those she didn't like of being communist spies. It happened quite often because they knew that some people just disappeared after being accused.
  • Candice, why would you do that? She wasn't doing anything to you?!
  • Back me up Tyler. I thought you were my friend...I guess not
  • It was a great way for people to get rid of those they didn't like. Here the girl is exiting the building and is in a bad mood. she sees a women walking down the street who happened to look at her. she automatically wanted revenge so she yelled saying that the girl was a communist spy.
  • Candice, what are you doing!? Please don't, I didn't do anything.
  • That's what you get for stabbing me in the back.
  • You're coming with us!
  • Even though she is innocent, just because the girl said that she is a communist spy, the police have to bring her in. She didnt really have much choice but to go with them. They girl who accused her for being spy didnt really have much empahty for sending her to jail.
  • What are you in here for?
  • My friend accused me of being communist spy
  • Later she went to her friend and told him about what she said and did. He didn't really agree with what she did or why she did it. She didnt really like that he was disagreeing with her so she once again turned on a innocent person. She only told on him because he did not like what she did.
  • Help please! I believe I've found a communist spy!
  • Once again the police came and took him because they had no other choice but to take him in. He felt very disrespected and betrayed. She thinks this will teach him a lesson but what she doesn't know is if they were to be found guilty, they could get the death penalty.
  • While in jail both of the people the girl sent to jail  had shared the same cell. They both tell each other about how they were accused of being communist spies, but what they don't know is the same girl accused them. For some people, it was their jobs to find communist spies so it was common for people to be randomly accused.
  • Really? I'm so sorry. I'm stuck in here because a random girl called me a communist spy
  • Guess today just isn't out lucky day
