Hello, I am Kemo from 10B and I will be talking about the US- Chinese trade war.
Hello, I am the President of the United States. As the president, i will be fighting the actions that china are taking, which is taking advantage of our currency.
what are your views on the Chinese- US trade war?
most 8th graders might not be familiar with the topic of the US- Chinese trade war. hence, to start with, i will be introducing myself, as well as introducing the Trade war between the two countries.
I believe that during the Obama presidency, it was a cooperation, but since Trump stepped in, it has been a conflict.
in order to make it easy for the 8th graders to understand, i will be using visual representations that will have my narration on top. Dialogue: the US and the Chinese signed a trade treaty in 1972, and since then have has a nearly conflict-less relationship. Though, conflicts started to rise soon after the Trump administration took over.
listening to the interviews and the speeches, the trade war can be seen as a cooperation that ended up as a conflict. The relation had close to no issues until the Trump administration stepped in.
in order to make the video easier to understand, as well as interesting for the 8th graders, i will be adding speeches from both presidents.

I will be interviewing people in order to transition to the topic of "opening attention". I will ask a question referring to the trade war and if they believe if the trade started as a conflict or cooperation.
I will be concluding the opinions and the facts obtained from the previous segments of the video, and I will state that the trade war is a cooperation that ended up being a conflict.
then, i will be explaining the factors that makes this trade war a conflict rather than a cooperation, and how the Chinese- US relation changed after Trump took office. Dialogue: Trump sees the situation as that the Chinese are taking advantage of the Dollar currency through the manipulation of fixed exchange rate and investing into the US Treasury.
