Build my labyrinth, as I told you. I pay you to build, not to ask questions.
How can we escape from an island if King Minos can control all of it?
King Minos, summoned the famous inventor, Daedalus, and his son, Icarus. He wanted them to build him a palace with soaring towers, a high curving roof, and a twisting maze in the cellar which no one could find their way out.
But how? It's impossible!
Get up, Icarus, and don't make a sound. We are leaving Crete.
To Daedalus' and Icarus' horror, they find out that King Minos put a creature, a half man and a half bull at the center of the maze. He fed it men and women.
Don't fly too close to the sun and not to close to the sea!
Since Daedalus and Icarus were the only men knew the secret of the maze and how to escape from it, King Minos wouldn't let them leave the island of Crete. They were remain prisoners until they died.
Daedalus enjoyed feeding the birds on the windowsill. Over the next year, he asked each bird he fed to give him one feather. He was able to make four great wings of feathers. He sewed them together and wax it.
Icarus didn't obey his father's advice. He's having so much fun flying that he forgets the warning and flies too close to the sun. Then his wings started to melt. The wings became unstuck!
Until Icarus plummets into the sea and drown. He sank head first and died instantly.
