- American Revolution Causes and Effects 1619
- Indians helped the French against the British during the war because the Indians had nothing to lose, the British were taking their land not the French.
- French and Indian War ( 1756 - 1763)
- The Stamp Act placed a tax on all printed documents in the colonies. When colonists bought any of the items they had to put a stamp on it to show that they bought the item

- After colonists dumped pounds of tea into the ocean a series of laws were passed as punishment. The Writs of assistance was passes and the Boston Harbor was closed.

- Agreed to create a confederation of the states to win the war with Britain. Appointed a committee to write the Declaration of Independence.
- 2nd Continental Congress Meets (1775)
- Thomas Jefferson, Ben Franklin, John Adams, Roger Sherman, and Robert Livingston created the Declaration of Independence that states that all men are equal.
