  • The French revolution was an uprising of peasants. They wanted fewer taxes and more bread.
  • The Tennis Court Oath
  • Due to the large amounts of people angry about taxes and the lack of bread a revolution started.
  • The Storming of the Bastille
  • The meeting of the estates general was a meeting in which they decided if they were gonna tax the second estate. They of course didn't go through with it
  • The Great Fear
  • The Tennis Court Oath was when the national assembly broke into an indoor tennis court and refused to leave until a new constitution was written.
  • The storming of the Bastille was when a bunch of armed peasants destroyed a prison looking for gunpowder and other arms
  • The great fear was when Robespierre began to execute thousands of people via guillotine.
