Storyboard Text

  • That's a good idea. I mean, they are saying to write Rockefeller's life.
  • Do you know where he could be?
  • He might be in his office, of course, in the Standard Oil Building.
  • I'll go ask Mr. Rockefeller.
  • Scary!
  • Kids! What are you doing here?
  • This building is restricted to employees only.
  • Good evening sir, we just wanted to ask Mr. Rockefeller for an interview.
  • Okay, fine.
  • Yeah, it's a life or death situation.
  • Mr. Rockefeller said that he was busy.
  • Please. Ask him again.
  • Gee, kids these days. So dramatic.
  • Thank you so much sir.
  • Mr. Rockefeller says fine.
  • For what?
  • Kids, what was so important that you needed to interrupt me while I was working?
  • Um, we would like to take down a few notes about you and Standard Oil.
  • Okay fine. What would you like to know?
  • And you expect me to believe that a couple of teenagers,  at 14 or 15 years old, are writing a book?
  • We are. We are writing a biography on influential figures of the past two centuries.
  • About your life, how you started and about Standard Oil.
  • We are writing a book on the greatest businesses of the 17th and 18th century.
