Is Okonkwo a tragic hero?

Okonkwo trying to always be strong and never show weakness.
Beating his wives during the Week of Peace.
"But Okonkwo was not the man to stop beating somebody half-way through, not even for fear of a goddess"(Achebe 30)
When Okonkwo accidentally killed someone and was exiled to his mother land.
"Okonkwo's gun had exploded and a piece of iron had pierced the boy's heart." (Achebe 124).
"He knew that Umuofia would not go to war"(Achebe 205).
"Okonkwo was ruled by one passion-to hate everything that his father Unkoa loved." (Achebe 13).
We feel pity for him when we see how he killed himself.
Obierka states, "That man was one of the greatest men in Umuofia. You drove him to kill himself; and now he will be buried like a dog..." (Achebe 208).
