The Maya Tribe
The Maya tribe was located in Central America. The tribe stayed alive from 2000 BC for over 3000 year until the Spanish arrived 1519.
During there daily life they had jobs full of hard work. The jobs ranged from cooking to farm work all day.
The government was divided into city-states. Each one has a King and Nobles that rule. They set all the laws.
Their religion revolved a lot around the stars and their calendar. But the also believe a lot in nature gods Itzamna, Kukulkhan, Bolon Tzacab, and Chaac.
They were one of the only tribes with an advanced written language. They Excelled in mathematics, art, architecture, and astronomy. The two types of learning were very valued were writing and math. I know this because they excelled in these things and loved to teach them.
