Storyboard Text

  • Exposition
  • Rising Action
  • Climax
  • Tessie Hutchinson
  • It wasn't fair
  • The morning was clear and sunny, with fresh warmth of a full- summer day: the flowers were blooming and the grass was richly green.
  • Falling Action
  • Mr. Summers stirred up the papers inside the black box. The people waited nervously  as the names were called.
  • Resolution
  • They picked out of the box and Tessie's name got picked. She said " you didn't give him enough time to take any paper he wanted. I saw you. It wasn't fair".
  • Literary term
  • Everyone picked up the stones and threw them at Tessie. Little Dave even threw stones at his mom.
  • Tessie was killed.
  • The literary term that I picked is foreshadowing. An example from the story is when they "eventually made a great pile of stones in one corner of the square.
