Storyboard Text

  • Young man, do you realize you're creating noise pollution right now?
  • I'm... what?
  • Noise pollution is irregularly harmful and disruptive levels of noise that disturbs people.
  • Yeah, OK, that's great, but how am I creating it?
  • Well, you're playing loud disturbing music for everyone to hear.
  • But seriously, how much harm can I actually cause by simply playing some music?
  • It can also be caused by airplanes, machines, industries and transportation systems.
  • Well, for one, you can affect another person’s hearing and also cause them to have physiological issues, making them have aggressive behaviour.
  •  Oh... I’m sorry, I didn’t realize the harm I was doing.
  • Noise pollution is not only harmful to humans but also affects animals. Think about all the squirrels and birds you are disturbing.
  • It’s OK. To help reduce it, you can wear earphones and turn off appliances and machines while you’re not using them, for example! You can also not play loud music on your radio for everybody to hear.
  • Heh, yeah, I guess that’s not a bad idea!
