We been learning about the immune system and the cells in it that protect our body from outside invaders.red bone marrow is also part of the immune system since it produces these cells.
plasma cells make large amounts of specific antibodies and Killer t cells specialize in killing infected body cells
antibodies are produced to kill specific antigens. macrophages engulf and destroy all foreign substances. and helper t cells recruit cells to fight invaders they also help by recognizing foreign antigens
helper t cell
killer t cells
antigens are any substance that is capable of exciting out immune system and provoking a response.
we also have other methods for protecting our body like agglutination . agglutination is a reaction that caused clumping of cells another way our body protects itself is memory cells. memory cells are apart of our secondary immune response so when familiar antigen is found again our immune response is faster and stronger
