"The Pit and the Pendulum"
This storyboard does not have a description.
The narrator is standing on trial and receiving a sentence to death. He stands before black-robed judges, he does not reveal the crimes for which he was charged and found guilty. Once the judges sentence him to the pit he passes out.
The narrator is in and out of consciousness. Unaware of his surrounds because the room he is in is pitch-black. He is unsure of how he got there but he is pretty sure this has to do with his punishment. He believes he is in a dungeon in Toledo, Spain
The narrator finds himself able to move so was he gets up. He feels his way around the dungeon, counting each step he takes. The floor was slippery, as he staggered on his weakness got the best of him and he fell. Upon falling he let sleep take over.
The narrator wakes up and continues where he left off. As he continues his researches. He starts to cross the floor, but trips over his robe. Once upon the floor he notices his forehead is not touching the ground. When he inspects more, he finds the pit.
After finding the pit, he notices bread and water, being extremely thirsty he drinks the water only to find out it was drugged. Once the narrator wakes up from his sleep. He notices he is strapped to a board only his head and left arm are free.
The narrator looks up to see a figure of time. Instead of the normal scythe he is holding a pendulum, with every vibration he notices the pendulum gets closer and closer to his chest.
