  • This is an outrage. the British have imposed a horrible tax on all of the sugar we use.
  • I know. This is completely unfair if this gets worse we will have to do something about it
  • 1767- The Writs of Assistance 
  • Were are going to search this coffee shop, we think you are hiding illegal goods 
  • these laws are really starting to get on my nerves
  • 1770 - The Boston Massacre 
  • This was the first tax that the British imposed, started the colonies path to rebellion.
  • 1773 - The Boston Tea Party 
  • This was the first big showing of authority from the British, Also took privacy away from the colonist.
  • 1774 - Coercive/Intolerable Act 
  • This is an outrage, these laws are outrageous.
  • This was government propaganda, the colonist provoked the British, however, the British had guns and the colonist were very mad about what happened.
  • 1774-The shot heard around the world
  • The is significant because it was the first physical rebellion from the colonist, and this led to the coercive act.
  • This event is important because it really pushed the colonist into war because they felt it was unjustified.
  • They have closed the harbor we can't import any goods. This is an unfair act.
  • This was the first sign of war, a shot was fired and nobody knew who shot first.
