The Frank and the Van Dann family are living together in one house to hide. The house is very crowded and they have to be careful about how much food they eat. The families had to make strict rules to follow so they wouldn't be found by the Nazis since they were Jews
Act 2: Scene 1
Meip, take this fur coat and sell it.
Mr. Kraler comes to Mr. Frank and asks if he could help one of his friends find a place to hide. Mr. Kraler suggests for him to stay with them even though the house is crowded. The mans name is Mr Dussel and apparently has always lived alone, so he tells Anne she must bare with him tell he figures it out.
Act 2: Scene 3
The invasion has begin!
Its a time to celebrate!
Everyone was enjoying Hanukkah and signing songs until they heard a crash of something below them. Everyone turns off the lights but when Peter tries to reach the lamp he falls. Mrs. Van Daan thinks it may be the green police but Mr. Frank doesn't think so. Mr. Frank goes downstairs to see who it is and finds out it was a thief.
Act 2: Scene 4
You have five minutes to get you things and leave!
Meip came over to give the Frank family and the Van Dann family any news that was coming from outside. Mr. Van Daan had an idea to sell Mrs. Van Danns fur coat for people outside that needed some warmth. Meip took the coat to sell it but Mrs. Van Daan is not very happy especially because her father gave it to her.
You cant take that, that was from my father!
Meip comes to the shop to tell everyone that the invasion has began. The Americans, British, French,Dutch, Poles, Norwegians, all of them landed on the coast of Normandy. Everyone was so happy, everyone thought the battle was almost over so they celebrated.
Both families live above a business where people come in and work. That day it was friday but know one was there so Frank went down to check. There was a man that gave the families five minutes to collect there things and leave.
