Yippee. Such a great choice for a beautiful state!
Such a great tragedy.
My father is dead, so I wonder who will be the governor now.

I should be governor, not any of these rotten people!
Votes from the ballots have been counted, and Eugene Talmadge has been declared victor.
Thompson for Governor!
Peace and quiet in my own office.
Eugene Talmadge has died before he is sworn into office. Georgia has no governor but has three candidates which are Melvin Thomson (the elected Lieutenant Governor), Herman Talmadge (Eugene's son), or Ellis Arnall (the outgoing Governor).
After counting the votes, Herman Talmadge wins the right to be governor!
Arnall believed that Thompson should have been governor because he was next up the chain, but Herman believed that he should due to the large number of write-in votes. Herman (Far Left), Thompson (Middle), Arnall (Far Right)
Meanwhile, Eugene's men have changed the locks for the office, so Arnall creates a new governor office for Thompson. Thompson is still not the true governor because the Secretary of State will not give them the official state seal yet.
After a General Assembly election, Herman Talmadge is declared the winner and is inaugurated into office. This was all due to the fact that the court was pro-Talmadge.
