Storyboard Text

  • The fourteen amendment was a document that allowed Africa Americans be recognized as a citizen with the same rights as U.S Americans, This ended debates when it came to the rights of African Americans. This Amendment helped out when it came to the Civil Rights Movement.
  • The KKK/(Ku Klux Klan) this was a group of South Americans that disagreed with the 14 Amendment and Freedmen having the same rights as them. This group will kill freedmen , and party leaders , and do other acts. This kinds of acts leaded to the Civil Rights Movement.
  • Freedmen weren't exactly free for example the 14 amendment gives them freedom for rights just like citizens . They had this thing were they would give them food, education, and clothing. However it was still hard for them to get jobs depending on the color. They wouldn't get paid as much to buy things, so they had to share land and give some cash crop money to keep on living there. So it still was like living as a slave.
