EXPOSITION- My aunt and uncles house that we stayed at is orange. My little cousin Sebastian is about 4'5 and has black hair.
RISING ACTION- When we went to the city we saw a big mountain on the outskirt of Santiago. There was a zoo at the bottom and it seemed like a fun idea to climb it.
CLIMAX- When at the top of the mountain we saw a big statue of the Virgin Mary and a big chapel. But when we got to the top it started to rain so we had to descend back down on the slippery ground.
I learned so many useful things in Chile. Life around the world isn't the same. The water there wasn’t the cleanest and so we had to drink bottled water so we didn’t get sick. I also learned that the mood is very different as well. The people in Chile seemed very happy and worried more about making friends and being friendly than money and material things.
I also learned a great deal of Spanish in the country, but I think the greatest thing I can takeaway is to cherish the time you have with someone. I might not see my family again for 1 year, or it could be 10. The time I spent with them really brought us closer and it was amazing seeing them in person for the first time. I would love to go back and be with them again in that wonderful place.
FALLING ACTION- We all got down the hill safely and no one got hurt. We took one final look and picture of the mountain.
Resolution- When we got home it was time to say goodbye and start packing up. When we got to the airport it was hard to not think about my family I just became really close with so far away from the US.
