  • Mrs. Jones took Roger to her house to discuss about the moral rights and wrongs of stealing, like a human versus human conflict.
  • Falling Action
  • Mrs. Jones took Roger to her house to ask him questions about his willing to take her pocketbook, to feed him, and to basically get to know Roger.
  • Resolution
  • Mrs. Jones told Roger the story of her when she was little and he shouldn't be stealing. She believes that it might get worse for Roger to do the wrong things in life.
  • Roger was telling Mrs. Jones that he wanted money to buy him some blue suede shoes to feel better.
  • Mrs. Jones gave Roger 10 dollars for his dream shoes. He wanted to say thank you, but Mrs. Jones shut the door already.
