Storyboard Text

  • Newton's 1st Law: something at rest will stay at rest and something in motion will stay in motion unless acted upon by an outside force.
  • When Brick (Black and Red) fell he won't stop until an outside force (the floor) stops him.
  • Joe (Green and Brown) will stay at rest unless an outside force moves him.
  • Since Brick is bigger than Joe and has a greater mass he outputs a greater force on the floor.
  • Newton's 2nd Law: F=M*A, acceleration of an object is affected by mass and the net force applied to the object.
  • Newton's 3rd Law: for every action there's an opposite reaction.
  • When Joe lands he will exert his force on the floor causing a loud noise because he will make a sort of shock-wave on the ground.
