Laws of Motion KFRY
By kfry, Updated
This storyboard does not have a description.
Newton's 1st Law: something at rest will stay at rest and something in motion will stay in motion unless acted upon by an outside force.
When Brick (Black and Red) fell he won't stop until an outside force (the floor) stops him.
Joe (Green and Brown) will stay at rest unless an outside force moves him.
Since Brick is bigger than Joe and has a greater mass he outputs a greater force on the floor.
Newton's 2nd Law: F=M*A, acceleration of an object is affected by mass and the net force applied to the object.
Newton's 3rd Law: for every action there's an opposite reaction.
When Joe lands he will exert his force on the floor causing a loud noise because he will make a sort of shock-wave on the ground.
