Storyboard Text

  • Exposition
  • I'm Cady. I just moved here from Africa.
  • Conflict
  • Who's that?
  • That's Regina George, the embodiment of evil.
  • Rising Action
  • Jingle bell, jingle bell, jingle bell rock
  • The exposition should introduce the main character(s), setting (time and place), and open the story.
  • Climax
  • OMG she pushed her in front of a bus!
  • The conflict should be apparent and introduce a problem for the protagonist.
  • Falling Action
  • This crown belongs to everyone
  • The rising action should develop the conflict and build up to the climax.
  • Resolution
  • The climax should be the point where the conflict is at its peak. The protagonist will have to confront the conflict and as a result, there is no turning back.
  • The falling action should follow the result of the climax. It will gradually lead to the resolution.
  • The resolution is how the story ends. It should be coherent and fit with the rest of the story. It should not completely dispute everything you have written so far.
