  • You can't write about these things.
  • Schools can censor student newspapers. It is not unconstitutional to do so.
  • Impact: Schools may censor newspapers and restrict other forms of student expression, including theatrical productions, yearbooks, creative writing assignments, and campaign and graduation speeches.

  • I think this makes sense since school newspapers are generally only seen in their schools, not distributed throughout larger areas like newspapers that are protected under the first amendment.
