  • The colonist came over in the late 1600s to settle in the 13 colonies for more freedom.
  • The French and Indian war was a war that the French and Indians fought the British and colonist but lost so Britain gained more land and the French and Indians lost their land.
  • NO TAXATION WITHOUT REPRESENTATION
  • Due to the French and Indian war the British was in debt so they taxed the colonist to pay for the war with out their consent. The second to last act was the tea act. Which taxed the tea the colonist want to buy.
  • In response to the tea act the patriot boycotted the tea act and dumped the loyalist tea in to the harbor. The British repealed the tea act and then placed the intolerable acts.
  • The first act was the sugar act the boycott of that one led to the quartering act, to the stamp, to declaratory, to Townshend act, to tea act, and then finally the intolerable acts. All the boycotts and rebellions where huge acts of treason the biggest one was the Declaration of Independence.
  • For each law past came another boycott or rebellion. All of this contributes to the start of the revolutionary war and the freedom of the United States.
