Lizabeth felt anger at Mrs. Lottie they so called the wicked witch. She stormed uout from the bushes toward Mrs. Lottie chanting " Old witch, fell in a ditch, picked up a penny and thought she was rich. Though that moment did not last long. Jon Burke came along. When Lizabeth went home she felt ashamed. The women part of her felt that is was not the best choice he had chosen. This sadness lasted all day.
Lizabeth felt alone in the darkness and helplessness in her room. needed for company she woke up Joey. She wanted to go on an adventure in the sense of filling up that deep hole. Lizabeth headed out in a furious manner. She felt like she was running from the furies that were chasing after her. Then she came across the only place she knew, Mrs. Lottie's house. It looked haunted but Lizabeth was not afraid of its evil presence. Lizabeth felt all of the negitive emotions in her life and destroyed the field of Marigolds. She sat there sobbing at what she did, but that only lasted for a second.
Lizabeth found Mrs. Lottie standing by her destroyed Marigolds, but not as an old witch but a old women with a tired body who was trying to find the light out from the darkness. Lizabeth relized this was the end of innocence and selfishness but yet becoming a woman. She now new Mrs. Lottie was a woman of beauty in her heart who was trying to make her old town into a renewed beauty.
