In this scene, this girl is reading hateful comments on a social media website and she believes everything they're saying because she has low self-esteem and insecure
Why won't they stop?! I haven't done anything to them and it's really uncalled for and... and... true *sobs softly*
The girl thinks she can ignore the things they're saying but in reality she can't
I'll just brush it off like I usually do, maybe it'll stop if I don't respond
Honey, Are you okay? I thought I heard crying last night?
The girl is getting a chance to confess what's bothering her but she's keeping it to herself and trying to handle it alone which isn't working
Um, y-yeah. I was just watching Furious 7 and you know how that ending gets me. Bye mom, love you. *Leaves quickly*
The bully is finally being shown and harassing her in school too, there's a bystander who doesn't say or do anything which could be her mistake
Hey! Why didn't you do us a favor and stop looking the way you do? Always shaking the ground every step you take fat *censor*!
After school ends, the girl goes home with a heavy heart and she can't continue going on with the constant words her bully says and sends her through social media so she does the one thing she knows will help her escape, she goes to sleep, a permanent sleep. Her mother finds her the next morning with a journal next to her, the mother reads it and finds everything that her daughter goes through.
The girl is found dead (suicide) by her mother and her mother is distraught from the loss of her daughter, she finds out the reason she did what she did.
*Sobs uncontrollably* My baby! My sweet baby!
The PSA message is that words are stronger than you think and people can't brush it off. Words make such a big impact on someone
