Storyboard Text

  • When I first arrive at the centre, I will take off my shoes, hang up my coat, and say hello to my tutors.  They will be excited to see me!
  • Next, I will bring my backpack into the tutoring centre.  I will sit down  and take out my work for the day.  My tutor and I will make a goal for our session, and we will begin to work.  I can look at my visual schedule to see what I have completed.
  • After doing such great work, we will take a break and I can choose an activity or toy to play with.  When the break time is up, we will get back to work and take other breaks when I need them.
  • If I need to use the washroom, I will tell my tutor, or I can give my washroom card
  • When time is up, I will tidy my work station and any toys I may have brought out.  
  • For doing such great work, I will get a sticker that I can use toward a prize at the end of the month.  I will then say goodbye to my tutor.
