Storyboard Text

  • Long ago, there was a young and handsome Spartan prince named Hyacinth
  • He was loved and lusted for by many, including Apollo, god of music and art; and Zephyrus, god of the west wind
  • Apollo
  • Wow, He's amazing!
  • Zephyrus
  • Hyacinth and Apollo fancied each other, and often took long hikes or played discus together
  • Zephyrus grew jealous of Apollo and Hyacinth's love, so he plotted to get revenge on the couple
  • This is so unfair! I must find a way to stop this, but how?
  • One day while Hyacinth and Apollo were playing discus, Zephyrus used his control over the wind to hit Hyacinth with the discus, striking a fatal blow
  • NOOO!
  • As Hyacinth lay dying, Apollo tried to use his powers to save Hyacinth, but to no avail. He then changed Hyacinth's spilled blood into the modern-day Hyacinth flower, so that he would not be forgotten.
