All of them? Just like that...?
Yup! Now you don't have to worry about the disobedient one escaping. Would you like to donate again?
Wow, really? But Congress has been so Republican lately!
I never thought I'd see the day...
David goes to the facility to ask. It turns out that Matthew had been injected with the same fatal disease and cure that many other clones that all died were injected with. The cure was faulty.
David grows up and becomes a government figure. He tries to change the practice of cloning, but is ridiculed. (Concept Collective Learning; David is applying the knowledge of what he learned from Matthew to try and advance/change society.)
After David retires, a bill is passed banning the forced containment of clones. (Concept Goldilocks Conditions; all of the Ingredients and struggles prior create the perfect conditions for the perfect resolution.)
David dies soon after, and the freed clones create a statue of him in his honour. No one remembers Matthew. (Concept Anthropocene Era; a new era for humanity has come, and they remain the dominant species over the biosphere).
In loving memory of a hero.
