CNN WORLD NEWS
The purpose of the article seems to be about how a young boy was shot in Chicago. Paramedics put a sheet over him saying that he was dead , but people had witnessed movement under the sheet. This article was written to show the cruel thing the paramedics did at the scene
The news article does seem a little biased because they only give the sides of the story of the police officers and witness, but never the side of what the paramedics saw. It states in the article, "He was shot in the head... I do understand that paramedics looked at him, believed him to be deceased" The cops only spoke what they believed the paramedics felt, the news broadcast team didn't talk to the paramedics and didn't their whole side of the story so it would be hard to come to a conclusion of what happend.
A Chicago teen, shot in the head, was covered with a sheet by paramedics. He died nearly a day later
The title of the article which is above does have a shocking and intriguing title. The article does have quotes from police men, and the victims family that shows he was really covered with a sheet and not paid attention to. The police chief states, ""He is responsive," the officer said. "He just moved ... from side to side and his arms. So he is not dead." So the police officers did tell the paramedics that the male was responding but the paramedics didn't do anything for 15 minutes, that is what witnesses claim.
The other titles on the website do not seem crazy. They are simple titles that give an overview of what the article is about. (Above boxes are other article titles on their website)
