Hi my name is John. I will be your tour guide today in the Museum of Washington's cabinets.
We will be focusing on Washington Secretary Of Treasury, Alexander Hamilton.
Hamilton believed that the power of the federal government should be a strong central government
And weak state governments.
Alexander felt that there should be a loose interpretation in the Constitution. Also, he thought that the rich should have a say in the Constitution.
Why did he prefer a loose constitution?
Good Question. He prefered a loose constition so he could connect programs to the rich so that they would support the government. He thought that since the rich paid the taxes that the government should let them have a say to keep their support.
Alexander felt that manufacturing would be the future for the economy. As you can see we live in a modern age where manufacturing is in major businesses all over the world. In my opinion I think Alexander had the vision for economy because not only did he had a vision that would be the outlet for inventors but would be open to women as well.
Hamilton felt that the government should give loans to the "infant industries" so they could progress overtime and grow in to the major industries we see today.
