  • "He's here in double trust,  first as I am his kings man and his subject, strong both against the deed."
  • Macbeth's Castle
  • "To prick the sides of my intent, but only vaulting ambition, which o'erleaps itself and falls on the other."
  • "we will proceed no further in this business."
  •                       Macbeth's Castle
  • "Letting I dare not wait upon I would like the poor cat i' adage."
  • Macbeth is really  stressed and concerned about his wife's plan to kill Duncan so he goes outside to calm down and vent to himself.
  • Macbeth's Castle
  • "prithee peace."
  • Macbeth finally decides he doesn't want to kill Duncan and there's no reason to  since Duncan is a good king.

  • "If we should fail?"
  • Macbeth ends up telling lady Macbeth his final decision and she gets furious.

  • "I am settled and bend up each corporal agent to this terrible feature. Away and mock the time with fairest show: false face must hide what the false heart doth."
  • Lady Macbeth goes on yelling at Macbeth attacking his manhood and asks if he even loves her since he won't do the deed.
  • "that made you break this enterprise to me? When you durst do it, then you were a man"
  • Macbeth gives in and tells lady Macbeth  he'll do the crime and go along with her plan.
  • "But screw your courage to the sticking place and we'll not fail."
  • Once lady Macbeth tells Macbeth the  full plan the married couple walk off to do the crime.
