In high school, my brain felt overwhelmed with all the information I had to remember.
.....SO i took my professors advice.....
"In college I am going to learn so muuuchhhhhhhh, goshhh I am already tired! But at least Ill be able to fulfill my dream of writing."
I got to college and realized something SO great. I realized that Im going to expand on what I do know about writing and learn even better techniques for my writing! I met professor Brehler, who taught me the real way to write. High school is just for beginners and my brain was just STARTING to be overwhelmed with info.
Then came along Project 1, where i got 43 points out of 50. Professor B told me to work on a clearer academic voice and also work on practicing outlining, so that my writing can have more and better structure to it.
...and suddenly there was a change!
I figured it out, and decided to do lots of outlining and planning before writing alot of my pieces. I began to understand the steps of writing for example, having a shitty rough draft is PERFECT to make a great essay. Getting all of your ideas out on paper is the very first step, whether thats a first draft or section work, to focus on paragraph by paragraph. Before college came, I never thought outlining would be an important roll in writing.
Project 3 came rolling around, and I was asked to do an outline, 1st rough draft and 2nd rough draft, and then a finished product. I took this very seriously and really thought about how I would write my essay, for it to be structured with details. Professor B said I did a great job, just to keep working on my organization. I tried... And tried...
I had to analyze a music video, putting a nice detailed essay together. I got a 163 out of 200. I feel like my paragraphs still need some work, but analyzing was great for me. I am improving on my writing skills and still learning new techniques. Thank you MRS. Professor Brehler!!!!
PROJECT 4 came to find its way into my life, and i was determined for a change!
