  • Good Morning everyone today we will be discussing how to collaborate and co-teach with other professionals

  • Also, co-teaching can have a general ed teacher and a special ed teacher
  • Co-teaching is when two or more educators share a classroom and provide instruction to a group of students.

  • One teaching, One observing: This is when one teacher is teaching and one is observing and after the class the two teachers put their data together and analyze together.

  • One teaching, One assisting: This is when one teacher is teaching the class material and the other teacher is assisting and helping the students who need further explanation and also doing crowd control.

  • Station teaching:The classroom is set up into groups and each teacher take a group and teach different lessons and then the group rotate until all students have learn the lesson. Parallel teaching: Splits the classroom into small groups and each teacher is teaching the same material but different teaching methods.

  • Alternative teaching: Splits the classroom into two groups, one big and one small, this is differentiated instruction, each teacher take a group and teach them separate. Teaming: is when both teachers teach together and they take turns talking and expanding together. They check in to share participation without interrupting each other.
