  • Resolution
  • I lied, Wart actually pulled the sword, not me
  • The lodge was locked up and the Wart goes to find a different sword when he comes upon a sword stuck in a stone, thinking it was memorial, and pulled it out of the stone.
  • Theme
  • Wart brought the sword to Kay who takes credit for pulling it from the stone, Sir ector is still skeptical so he wants proof that Wart pulled it.
  • Sir Kay tells the truth about him not pulling the sword. Sir Ector gets confused when he wants to pull the sword again, then he realizes and bows to the Wart along with Sir Kay.
  • There are many themes that go along with the story, but loyalty is a big one. The Wart was always loyal to Sir Kay and Sir Ector, as Sir Kay has been loyal to his father.
