  • I am going to prove myself right and then, this bootlegger will never have MY wife again.
  • Gatsby, what kind of row are you trying to make?
  • Tom. you are the one causing the row, have some self-control.
  • I have something to tell you, old sport.
  • This man is a fool. Daisy and her foolish mind caused this! How could she ever love this low life swindler.
  • Of course she loves me and she did when we got married.!  I am her husband You're crazy.  
  • You're asking for too much, I can't say I never loved him.
  • I wish I could leave.
  • Daisy, tell this man you never loved him. You only love me.
  • Tom's Point of View. Tom, Daisy, Nick, Gatsby, and Jordan all have arrived at the Plaza Hotel that they decided to go to due to the fact it was an extremely  hot summer day. Once in their suite Tom feels  that this is a good time to confront  Gatsby about the affair he and his wife are having.
  • Gatsby, what kind of row are you trying to make?
  • 
  • Tom. you are the one causing the row, have some self-control.
  • I have something to tell you, old sport.
  • Finally! With our affair and love out Daisy and I will be free to love one another and run away.
  • Here Gatsby and Tom's fight has been seen to have escalated quickly. Tom believes Gatsby to be insane due to the fact Gatsby believes that Daisy has never loved him [Tom].
  • Self-control?! I will not sit back while a bootlegger takes my wife from me. He is nothing, what can he say?
  • Tom lets leave, there is not point in this.
  • Daisy is right, lets leave. 
  • Daisy never loved you! She loves me. She only married you because she was tried of waiting for me.
  • This man needed to understand Daisy has only ever loved me. She only married him because i was poor. We are going to be together now.
  • Tom blames Daisy foolish ideas for Gatsby's love, as well as Gatsby  himself. Tom is  smug because Daisy is unable to tell Gatsby that she never loved  Tom in the way he wanted her to.
  • Of course she loves me and she did when we got married.!  I am her husband You're crazy.

  • Daisy, tell this man you never loved him. You only love me.
  • Daisy would never possibly love this hulking polo-player. She loves me and always has!
  • Gatsby's Point of View Gatsby, Nick, Tom, Daisy, and Jordan all have arrived at the Plaza Hotel that they decided to go to due to the fact it was an extremely  hot day. Here, Tom decides to confront Gatsby about his affair with Daisy. Gatsby is very content with this because he views it as an easy way for him to finally tell of his and Daisy's love for one another.
  • The confrontation between Tom and Gatsby continues and reaches its peak. Here Gatsby is yelling about the idea that the only reason Daisy married Tom was because she was tried of waiting for Gatsby. 
  • Gatsby is unable to understand how Daisy could possibly love Tom. He is very caught up in the past and is unable to accept the idea that Daisy is able to love both Tom and himself. Gatsby refuses  to accept reality and seems to fail to understand the position he put Daisy in when he tells Daisy to tell Tom she never loved him.
