Storyboard Text

  • The present time is the important time, don't worry bout the past or future.
  • The king wanted to find somebody who will teach him when is it the right time to take action, who's the most necessary people, and how to know what's the most important thing to do.
  • "All the answers being different, the king agreed with none of them."
  • When he wasn't impressed with peoples answer, he decided to go see the hermit so that he can give him answers to his question.
  • "The hermit listened to the king, but answered nothing."
  • When he went to go see the hermit, he asked him for the answers to his questions but wasn't saying anything back. While he was asking the hermit the questions, he had been digging and the king let him take a break and then some time had went by and a man came running from the woods. He had been wounded and right away the king and the hermit started helping the wounded man out.
  • "The king and the hermit unfastened the man's clothing. There was a large wound in his stomach. The king washed it as best he could, and bandaged it with his handkerchief and with a towel the hermit had."
  • The king ended up finding out that the wounded man was an enemy. The enemy had started asking him for forgiveness and the king forgave him. The hermit wasn't inside so the king went to go look for him. Once the king found him he started asking him for the answers to his questions, then that's when the hermit said that his questions had already been answered. The answer to his question is that the most important time is when you have any power, most necessary is the person you are with, and most important affair is when you do good.
  • "Remember then: there is only one time that is important."
  • The first event shows the theme because he is trying to look for someone who will tell him what to do in the future  and who are the right people, and what actions to do, but nobody can really predict the future so nobody can really tell you.
  • The third event shows the theme because when  the wounded man came running from the woods the hermit never told him that was going to happen, so he had to act quick while it happened so he can save the mans life.
  • The fourth event shows the theme because he ended up saving the guys life.  He tried asking the hermit about the 3 questions again the hermit told him that they had already been answered. They way they were answered was because of what had ended up happening  and so they had to act quick about the situation. The hermit told the king that the important time was now because nobody can really tell you about the future and what you have to do or tell you what you should've done in the past. It's all about whats going on at the time it is happening.
  • The second event shows the theme because when he asked people the 3 questions he wasn't satisfied with any of their answers so he went to go ask the hermit. He's focused on trying to look for someone who can tell him about the future.
