  • French Revolution Introduction
  • Factors that led to the Revolution
  • Meeting of the Estates General
  • The Tennis Court Oath
  • The Storming of the Bastille
  • The Great Fear
  • The people of the third estate were locked out of their normal meeting room so they went onto an open tennis court and said that they weren't going to leave until they created a new document of independence.
  • Rumors going around about the king using military power and getting people to come in and kill French citizens caused people of the third estate to storm the Bastille prison in search for gunpowder.
  • More rumors about nobles hiring people to harm the lower-class were still stirring up and so the third estate became outlaws themselves and stormed into manors to burn documents that bound them to feudal dues.
