#### Storyboard Text

• Hello my name is Celine Moussa Today i am going to explain to you about how to balance chemical equations
• i will give you 3 examples one that is easy then its gets harder. Lets began
• lets begin with the formula:
• to find out if the equation is balance you have to count how many hydrogen and then count how many oxygen there is. so we have: 2 hydrogen --> 2 hydrogen 2 oxygen --> 1 oxygen
• H^2+O^2 -->
• H^2+O^2 --> H^2O
• now that we have found out that the chemical equation is not found we have to find it. to balance it put a 2 in the begging of the equation so 2H^2+O^2 -->
• H^2+O^2 -->
• H^2+O^2 --> H^2O
• For the second chemical equation:
• the subscript which is the 2 should be lower case for all the formulas
• the 2 in the begging of the formula should be red and also the 2 in the beginning of the H^2 in the begging of the product continuation of the text: so now there is 4 hydrogen; 2 oxygen. After that put a two i the begging of the reaction is its 2H^2+O^2 --> 2H^2O so now the final equation is 4 hydrogen --> 4 hydrogen 2 oxygen --> 2 oxygen
