Welcome students my name is Mr. Almond and today I'm going to tell you kids about John Holland.
John Holland was born December 5, 1961
Grew up in an East Coast, Irish-Italian, Roman Catholic home.
I'm going to teach you the code he created on personality called RIASEC.
I stands for: Investigative.
R stands for: Realistic.
C stands for: Conventional.
S stands for: Social.
A stands for: Artistic.
E stands for: Enterprising
I felt confused by how random the questions on the survey wer.
Like some of the questions threw me off because they were asking questions about jobs that i liked then, they started asking questions about jobs that I never seemed fit for me.
I have three personality traits: Investigative, Entrepreneurial, Conventional. These traits can help me find careers for myself in the future. My RIASEC code is (IES).
I always wanted to be an investigator, for one they make a lot of money. Investigative jobs are jobs such as CID Special Agents and police detectives which both make lots of money and they both seem like pretty cool jobs.
While taking the survey i noticed that seen a lot of questions for investigative jobs.
According to my personality traits i can become an criminal investigator and qualify myself into marketing.
But, if i had to choose between the two I'd become a criminal investigator.
For this pathway I'd have to attend law school. I'd also, need four high school credits for math, ELA, and science; three credits for social studies and one for health/personal fitness.
In this career I'd make $92,911 every 10 to 20 years as a criminal investigator.
After I achieve the requirements to become a criminal investigator I'd like to work as and CID Special Agent.
