On May 14th, 1804 a corps of 40 men left in canoes on the Missouri River. They were on a journey to the Pacific ocean. Sacagawea and her husband, Charbennue were hired to join the Corps of Discovery and be interpeters of the shoshone language
A month later after she got the baby, she went back to work. Then, She dove for the items in the water with the baby and rescued the corps discovery. She also did not scream that loud when she got thew baby.
They could not get past the waterfall so they build a wagon to keep the supplies and boats. A flash flood happened and all of Pomps clothes washed away. Sacagawea jumped up and down sucking her fingers which meant she found her people.
