  • Yes, my good lord.
  • Are you going riding this afternoon?
  • Act 3, Scene 2
  • That’s comforting. They can be killed, it’s true.
  • But they can’t live forever.
  • Act 3, Scene 3
  • Oh, this is treachery! Get out of here, good Fleance, run, 
  • There’s only one body here.
  • Macbeth is asking Banquo what his whereabouts will be and to attend the feast. So he can plot Banquos death.

  • Macbeth is plotting on Baquo's assassination and trying to justify his death to himself and lady Macbeth. Also they're being very secret and careful not to reveal their plans to anyone.

  • What’s wrong, Hecate? You look angry.
  • Don’t I have a reason to be angry, you disobedient hags?

  • Macbeth's assassins complete half the mission they were hired to do and they kill Banquo but unfortunately fleance escapes.

  • He did, but Macduff told the messenger, “No way.”
  • Did he tell Macduff to return to Scotland?

  • Macbeth is Hallucinating. The ghost of Banquo appears at his coronation banquet.  His guest think that he is going crazy but lady Macbeth tells them that they should leave because he is not feeling well.

  • Hecate is very disappointed the at three witches for not including her in the meetings.

  • Fleance is accused of killing his father,  and they're looking for suspects.  Also they've mentioned how they want Macduff to come liberate their country from a tyrant.
