  • Narra Pilot Elementary School
  • I have group of friends way back when I was on grade 6, we called our group barkada. We are best friends and we share common interests and hobbies.
  • We go to each other house, play in the Plaza, eat together in school and we are all active in participating any activities in school. We are all dancers so we loved to perform on stage.
  • Dear Self, Just do what you want and don't let others affect you. Achieve your dream and most importantly love yourself. Always think that tomorrow will going to be great, so smile and be confident. Love, Irah
  • But one day, they start to be mean. I think it's because of my skin complexion. I am the only one that has different skin from our group. I also had many scars on my legs because of our dog's fleas called bitik, and it's really itchy so I tend to scratch it.
  • They distance theirselves to me. When I walk into their front, they will start to glare at me. They also tease me because of my skin and scars.
  • Since that day, I started to reflect on myself and I did my best to stand out. I started to study well and do my best as a student and to grow as an individual. I want to prove that I don't need friends like them because I can stand on my own feet.
  • I graduated as top 3 in our batch. I learned that every person we meet has a role in our life to make us a better person and to gain lesson from it.
