When Joe got back in time he landed right where he needed to. Polo Grounds. The stadium was empty and there was no security. He snuck under a fence and got in. He went to the manager's office and saw that he was cheating. He was stealing the pitching signs. Joe needed to tell someone. But right as he was getting out, the manager walked in. They said if he didn't leave, they would call the cops. They tied him up and left him in the room with a bag over his head. Then Willie Mays came in and untied him.
When he got out of the office, he told one of the players that the Giants were cheating. Then after that, he went back to present time.
When he woke up, he was back home. He looked up some things on the computer to see if any history was changed. He looked up Willie Mays and it said he only played on season. After that year, he quit. Joe needed to go back and make sure that the Giants won the pennant.
When he got back, he tried to sneak in, but a guard stopped him. He gave the guard a camera so the Giants could keep cheating and change history back to normal. After that, he went home.
When he got home, everything was back to normal. Except for one thing. Joe's coach, Flip, had passed away.
