Henry VIII was born on June 8, 1491 in Greenwich, London, England, United Kingdom
Henry VIII took to the throne in 1509.He had 6 wives.
He was the author of a best selling book that attacked Martin Luther's ideas and sided with the catholic church.
Of course I did!
The importance of the book was that Martin Luther's ideas were thought of highly and the idea of going against them was unheard.
Henry wanted to divorce one of his wives, but the church would not allow him to, so he created the religion called angelican.
His lasting contribution was the reformation and his saying " divorced, beheaded, died, divorced, beheaded, survived."
