The Magna Carta was a document of charter's agreed on by the king. It was signed on the 15th of June , 1215, and was written by King John of England. The overall purpose of this document was to have a peace treaty.
The Mayflower Compact was the first governing document of Plymouth Colony. The document was signed by Myles Standish, and 40 others, on the 11th of November in 1620. The purpose of this was to create a "self-government" and have, temporary, just and equal laws.
The English Bill of Rights was an act that the Parliament of England that was passed on December 16th, of 1689. The Bill was made to create laws and have separation of powers among the government. This was signed by William lll and Mary ll.
