  • Exposition
  • Conflict
  • Rising Action
  • In the exposition, it is explained how the students see Margot. Since she is different, having only came from Earth four years ago, she is labeled as the outsider.
  • Climax
  • The conflict of the story is how the story is how the students are arguing over what the sun looks like.
  • Falling Action
  • In the rising action, of the story is how the students are talking about the sun. The only person who knows what the sun looks like is Margot.
  • Resolution
  • In the climax, the arguing between the students start escalating. Eventually the students get the idea of locking Margot in the closet. The rain stops and the students head outside..forgetting Margot.
  • In the falling action, Margot is still trapped in the closet while the other children are playing outside. Then as they are enjoying their moments of fun, the rain starts again.
  • In the resolution, the students are returning back into the school when one of them remembers Margot. Sullenly the students go to the closet to let out Margot.
