- Waiter shows the customer what is suitable for them/answers any questions about the menu
- Thats no problem, i'll show you...
- i'll have the salmon to start and then the lamb
- And i'll have the salad then the fish pie
- Great, thank you. Can i get you any more drinks or any more nibbles?
- We're fine for nibbles thanks, but we'll have a bottle of the Chardonnay
- The wine arrives and the customers wait for their food. Any extra MEP needed is delivered to the table
- The check comes into the kitchen and the chefs work on it
- The starters arrive at the table and are given to the customers. Drinks are topped up if needed
- The customers eat their starters. The waiting staff observe for subtle signs to see if the guests need anything else.
