Storyboard Text

  • Isaac Newton was born on December 25, 1642.Newton's father died 3 months before he was born and his mother is worried about his acceptance in the town.
  • oh what shall this fatherless child accomplish
  • I'm very interested in chemistry
  •        King's School in Grantham                              chemistry
  • Welcome to Cambridge's Trinity College,Isaac.
  • hmm.. white light and color..concave convex..movement.. motion
  • blah bah blah blah
  • Since the plague hit Isaac left Cambrige for two years and returned. He received his Mater of Arts degree in 1667.
  • Class of 1667
  • Good job Isaac
  • Newton creates the 3 laws of motion which is one of the famous theories of Newton.
  •   Every object in a state of uniform motion tends to remain in that state of motion unless an external force is applied to it.The relationship between an object's mass m, its acceleration a, and the applied force F is F = ma. For every action there is an equal and opposite reaction
  • Newtons Discoveries  Newton made discoveries in optics, motion, and mathematics. Newton theorized that white light was a composite of all colors of the spectrum, and that light was composed of particles. His momentous book on physics, Principia, contains information about physics, motion, and gravity.Newton's first major public scientific achievement was designing and constructing a reflecting telescope in 1668. He used his telescope to study optics and help prove his theory of light and color. Legend has it that, at this time, Newton experienced his famous inspiration of gravity with the falling apple. According to this common myth, Newton was sitting under an apple tree when a fruit fell and hit him on the head, inspiring him to suddenly come up with the theory of gravity.
  •  He died on March 31, 1727, at the age of 84.Isaac Newton's fame grew even more after his death, as many of his contemporaries proclaimed him the greatest genius who ever lived.
