This storyboard does not have a description.
Hello everyone! Welcome to our study of redox reactions!
Oxidation is the loss of electrons while Reduction is the gain of electrons. This occurs during a reaction with an atom, ion, or molecule.
But let us ask ourselves, how do these reactions work together?
Oxidation and reduction reactions work together when the oxidation state of a molecule is increased. Reduction occurs when the oxidation state of a molecule is decreased with the gain of electrons.
Does this make sense everyone?
