Innovation had a great impact during the Industrial revolution. Many people started to create new inventions which helped people do their work in an easier way and which saved them time. One invention that was created was the seed drill. It was invented in 1701 by Jethro Tull. The seed drill made farming easier by that it drilled holes for three rows at a time. Also, it made planting more efficient, and helped grow seeds which increased the crop yield ratio to about 9 times, and its cheaper.
An English chemist named Michael Faraday created the first electric motor the dynamo. The dynamo generates electricity and today all the electrical generators are based on the principle of Faraday's dynamo. Another invention that had a great impact in the industrial revolution was the Cotton Gin. It was invented by Eli Whitney in the year of 1794. The Cotton Gin helped enable the separation of cotton seeds from raw cotton fibers. Also, it became much easier for farmers to use the fiber to make cotton goods.

Before the assembly line got created the factories still used a large amount of workers and machines to mass-produce goods. To improve the efficiency or means of production, the manufactures started to design products with interchangeable parts. In the early 1900s the manufactures introduced another production which was called the assembly line. As more inventions got created, there were more jobs for proletariat which increased urbanization. The assembly line added parts to a product that moves along a belt from one of the stations to another. The assembly line made production faster and cheaper which started to lower the prices of the goods.
In 1804, Richard Trevithick invented the Locomotive. This invention allowed a large-scale movement of resources and people over long distances. The Locomotive revolutionized the way business and private citizens transport their goods and themselves around.
As the production started to increase, the entrepreneurs wanted a faster and a cheaper way to transport goods from one place to another. So,some capitalists invested in the turnpikes. The turnpikes was another invention that was created. They were private built roads which had a fee for travelers who wanted to use them or go to a specific location in a faster and in an easier way.
In 1709, Abraham Darby used coal to smelt iron.He wanted to separate the iron from the ore.So he discovered that the coal gave off pollution that damaged the iron. Darby started to make experiments which led him to create a better quality and a less expensive iron which was beneficial and which helped build railroads.
