My reviewer was my father. His suggestions: Make sure the speech bubbles don't cover the people's faces. move the characters so they look like they actually standing on the floor.
Hello! My name is Khadijah. This is my school I am currently learning about the ratification of the constitution. I have an idea! I'll tell you all about what I've learned.
This is the legislative branch. They make bills that the president can veto or sign to make it a law. If the president vetoes a law, then the congress can over rule it with a 2/3 vote (which is hard to get).
This is the Executive branch. The president is in charge. The others are members of the cabinet. The president can pardon people from jail. That means letting them go. The legislative branch can accuse the president of a crime and he can be impeached. The president can tell the army what to do.
This is the judicial branch. They can declare a law unconstitutional, even if the president has signed it. They can also declare the president not guilty if he is impeached.
These are the federalists. They thought that the constitution did not give enough power to the citizens. They did not want to ratify the constitution.
These are the anti-federalists. They were fine with the constitution and wanted it signed immediately. They believed in a strong central government.
